ORANGE PARK AMATEUR RADIO CLUB JUNE 2018 MEETING MINUTES
The Orange Park Amateur Radio Club June 2018 meeting was held at the Orange Park High School, and was opened by Don Ahlskog. Introductions were made, visitors were welcomed, and birthdays were recognized. A motion was made to approve the minutes as posted, it was seconded, and the motion carried.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
$102 deposit made.
A motion was made, voted on and passed to approve report.
There are no liabilities at this point. Life membership is $150.00. Dues are $10/year.
ARES UPDATE: No July meeting due to July 4th holiday. 925 repeater is doing fine. If the repeater is on emergency status, please wait until the emergency status is over before speaking.
Need to remember there are a lot of new call signs. Please be patient with the new HAMS.
FIELD DAY:
Jim Iori will not be able to attend this year. Bob Ivey will be our only CW operator unless others volunteer.
SET UP:
Friday from 3 PM, meet at the portables.
Saturday – 8:00 -breakfast at Grumpy’s.
9:00 – Meet at the high school.
Safety Officer – Jeff Kern.
Food this year will be served in the Art room.
