ORANGE PARK AMATEUR RADIO CLUB  AUGUST 2018 MEETING MINUTES

The Orange Park Amateur Radio Club  August 2018 meeting was held at the Orange Park High School and was opened by Don Ahlskog.  Introductions were made, visitors were welcomed, and birthdays were recognized.

A motion was made to approve the minutes as posted.  Mark Fields “opposed” the approval of the July minutes based on the fact that they were missing information regarding approval of monies to be spent to it purchase a repeater.  After discussion of amending the July minutes, the motion was seconded, and the motion carried.

TREASURER’S REPORT: 

Cash       – $    792.45
Savings   – $1,637.66
Checking – $   748,62

A motion was made, voted on and passed to approve report.

ARES UPDATE:   Adrian Gray –  the next meeting will be the first Tuesday in September at the Pinewood Christian Academy.  Make sure gear is hurricane and tropical storm ready!

QRP – Second and last Saturday of each month, 1:00 PM. Fleming Island Public Library.

REPEATERS:  No report.
