ORANGE PARK AMATEUR RADIO CLUB

MARCH 21, 2019 MEETING MINUTES

Due to Orange Park High School being closed for Spring break, the monthly Orange Park Amateur Radio Club meeting was held on March 21, 2019 at the International House of Pancakes (iHop) on Blanding Boulevard in Orange Park.  Following the recently established pattern of alternating business and social meetings monthly, this meeting was social, and there was no reading or accepting of minutes from the previous month’s meeting, no reading or accepting of the Treasurer’s Report.  There were no committee reports or other formal activity. 

Thirty-one people were in attendance, including the secretary and the treasurer to provide information about previous minutes and the financial report, respectively.

During general discussion, it was noted that a significant number of OPARC members took part in the St. John’s River “Great American Cleanup” held on March 16.

Chairman of the Field Day Committee, Chuck Helverson (KA3EHL), informally talked with several members about filling various positions and  roles at the upcoming Field Day.

There was no formal meeting adjournment.
